Appreciating the Day

I will take this day and I will make it special and I will appreciate what I will experience, then I will let it go, giving thanks for the things that I have learned from it. ~ACN

Each day is a gift to us from our Divine.  Each day is different.  We never know what will really happen on each day.  It’s kind of like open all those gifts on Christmas day.  We don’t know what is inside until we open it.  Sometimes we receive a great gift, something we desperately want and sometimes we receive the reverbrial pair of socks that we neither like nor want.

Sometimes our days turn out great and others not so.  How we react to each day is what is important.  We can chose to “be” in the moment or we can chose to go into “effect”, performing and complaining about what is happening.  We can stoically assess the situation on hand and learn from it or we can turn our backs and ignore what we are being taught.

Each moment of our lives holds a lesson to it. Some lessons are tough and some not so.  Some we can cry over and some we can laugh at.  The point is, ask yourself what you have learned from this day. What can you carry forward into tomorrow as a tool to enhance your life and what do you need to discard?  Ask yourself, how can I grow from this situation?  Only you will know the answer to these questions.  Only you know what you need to move forward enhancing your life with what you have learned.

It is up to each one of us to honour each day, graciously accepting what has been handed to us, appreciating it for what it is, processing it and then be in gratitude for it before letting it go.

In love and light,
Amanda
