Self Love

 Life on this earth is not lived unless one lives first for the self and then for those in your circle for without this no love can be found. Then to close the gap between self love and another is the greatest gift that we can receive from God. And so the eternal love between man and woman when they are true of self and each other is greater than life itself. ~ACN

How do we love someone else unless we know what it is to love ourselves?

To love yourself, is to realise the need to respect yourself, to honour your inner being, to introspect so deeply that you no longer see the outer body that houses your soul, but to see your soul in its entirety. It is the honouring of your soul, the acceptance and knowing that you are a wonderful creation of your Divine. It is to realise that your soul is naught but pure gentle love.

Once you have achieved this sense of being, accept then the outer body as it is, whether short or tall, fat or thin, scarred or of porcelain skin, to fully appreciate that it is the vehicle for the soul and that as such you can honour it, nourish it, see the beauty of what it is. That is self-love.

Once in this state of self-love, you are able to love another unconditionally, without judgment or criticism. You will find that as you accept your body and soul, so you can and will accept another. This is the greatest gift bestowed you by your Divine. In this state of absolute unconditional love, you can experience a state of bliss with another. This is what your Divine intended for you.

Give thanks for the acceptance of self, for the love of self and for the recognition that you are a beautiful creation of God. ~ACN
