Mankind

Mankind it what it is. From Mankind we learn how not to be. Or we learn how to be. No person is inherently bad. They are just experiencing the lessons that they came to Mother Earth to learn from. Look always for the good within your being. You are an awesome soul, a perfect creation of your Divine. Judge neither yourself nor another. It is only for our Divine to do that. Acceptance is the key. ~ACN

We can learn many things from our fellow man (or woman). We learn how to be or how not to be. We can choose to follow examples of behaviour; we can assess a behavioural pattern of someone and choose to emulate it. We choose to have heroes and heroines, choosing them based on their behaviour. We hear or read their words and can choose to take them into our lives, living by them and making ourselves better, stronger, wiser humans.

Just as we choose to learn from the positive in people in our lives so to we can learn from those who chose to lead despicable lives. People such as Hitler can teach us so much. One of the greatest lessons that I learned from him was that we are all equal. Even although he made choices to eliminate certain races and creeds of humanity, in doing this he taught me that to make another suffer despicable atrocities is unacceptable. I learned from him that when we touch the life of another, we create a ripple effect that touches the lives of all connected to that person. By creating fear in one we create fear in all who surround that being, their families, their friends, their colleges etc. And so we impact collectively on all in that circle.

No person is inherently bad for we are created in love by our Divine. We are created as perfect beings with the ability to love unconditionally and without judgment. Each one of us has good qualities and all deserve a place in the sun. Some of us choose lessons in this lifetime that lead us down paths that are dark and filled with wrong doings and destruction. Be gentle with these souls for they are here learning, just as we are here to learn positive lessons.

I have recently had the experience of visiting someone who is incarcerated in a correctional facility. I have met and heard of those who are also there for whatever crime that they have committed and have learned the lesson of acceptance in such a huge way. I have learned not to judge them for they are there, paying for whichever crime they have committed. By judging them, I judge their families and friends too. Most of us look at the family, especially the parents, and ask why they have a son who has become what he is. Yet, no matter what the parent has done in raising that person, they are not responsible for their actions and therefore cannot be judged. They too are learning from this is experience, just as I have learned; acceptance and love in the circumstance, despite the crime committed. The lessons we learn from each experience is of importance here. Be filled with Divine love, compassion and kindness for these beings as they learn what they contracted to learn.

On death of the body, the soul returns to universe where it will face it's council, before continuing to healing. It is here that the soul will be required to account for its life minute by minute and from this will complete its learning as it is made to understand how a lesson could still be gained from the experience yet in a positive way. Know then that the act of judgment is not ours to make since it is the role of one’s council to do so. Rise above the urge to judge and think upon this when you feel the need to do so.

When darkness in deed intrudes or is within your own life’s bounds, be gentle on yourself also and know that you have contracted to experience this. Forgive yourself for your role in the life of another who has so chosen to lead such a dark life and know that you are loved and are love.

In love and light,

Amanda

To Journey On

To Journey On
by Amanda C. Nicolin

Standing on the precipice to a brand new life,

Knowing not what will be,

What life has in store for me.

Looking forward to my future,

Excitement fills my being,

I am grateful for the things that have been.

Asking for guidance from my Divine,

To give me strength,

And courage to carry on.

To fill my soul with gratitude,

To make me whole and strong,

To give me courage and wisdom to face what must come.

And glancing back,

To the lessons I have learned,

Taking those which serve me to journey on ahead.

Keeping in my heart,

Those who have blessed me

With their presence and their love.

Standing on the precipice to a brand new life,

Thanking my Divine,

For all the opportunities and blessings that have been mine.

To Do or Not to Do? Now That Is The Question!

Trying is good.... it is when we don't that we have a problem. To sit back and do nothing is to think that we are above guidance. ~ ACN

I have often been known to say that there is no such thing as “try”. We either do it or we don’t. Just try and make something move on a table. Hardly possible for the man in the street that is not privy to the knowledge of people such as Houdini, is it?

Yet when we make no attempt to do anything in a problematic situation it is hardly the way to go. Of course, we can choose to do nothing. If this is the case the problem will simply stay as is or may even escalate, yet a problem it will still be.

The point in question here is to do or not to do.

When we fail to take action, not only does the status quo remain, but we belittle ourselves by not recognising that we have the courage and tenacity to tackle something. We create images in our minds that lead us to believe that we are not good enough, not strong enough or not wise enough to resolve the issue at hand. We create a deeper and uglier situation by allowing the problem to fester and grow. Who among you would honestly stand back and allow a cancer to grow, knowing that it could be stopped by means of treatment, be it chemotherapy, alternative healing or surgery? Hardly one amongst us would stand by allowing what could be fixed to grow and in so doing shorten our own lives. When the time comes to fight for your life, we all make an effort of some sort or another. Even those who eventually choose death have previously attempted some kind of treatment or another. Doing nothing is just like not having attempted any treatment at all. Not taking action is letting the cancer grow!

Now on the other hand, when we jump up and take action, no matter how small it may be, we are serving ourselves in allowing the greatness of our beings to come to the fore and often surprise ourselves with our courage, strength, perseverance and ability to slowly but surely fix that which is not working in our lives. Often, just by taking action, we are able to resolve a problem immediately. At other times, we have to slowly chip away at the problem allowing it to resolve bit by tiny bit. The point is, you are taking action and that in itself is a good thing. When the problem or issue is resolved, give yourself credit, a good pat on the back, and acknowledge what you have achieved and what you have learned from the experience. Acknowledge the strength that it took, the wisdom you gained, the courage or tenacity you have within you. Give thanks for all that you are and will be from the experience.

When we complacently deny ourselves the opportunity for growth we allow our ego to rush to the fore, as if it were an Olympic athlete in a 100 meter dash, and by doing that we put ourselves above the need for guidance, learning and growth. Every single one of us has incarnated to Mother Earth to learn at a rapid rate. If we wanted to take centuries to achieve growth, we would have incarnated to another plane. So to deny ourselves growth through learning is to defy our choice of Mother Earth as a learning ground and by doing that we judge and defy the choices we made pre-life. What an injustice to your soul. You so deserve to experience each lesson fully and to achieve the soul growth you so planned.

Take action today. Honour your soul by taking action and allowing it to grow.

In love and light,

Amanda

Victim or Victor? It’s Your Choice

You do not need to be a victim when you have a problem. We all have problems. How you deal with them determines on if you consider yourself a victim or not. ~ ACN

The dictionary describes the word “Victim” as a person who has experienced misfortune and feels helpless to remedy it.

We all experience and encounter problems in our lives. Some experience greater problems than others, some more frequently than others yet we all experience them. Life happens to each one of us and when it does it presents problems for us, sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a severe way and creates an outcome where we have difficulties.

When we encounter problems in our lives, we can choose to react in one of two ways. The first is to face it as a victor, with courage and determination, with dignity and respect and the second to jump into victim mode.

To react as a victim means to abandon all hope. We withdraw into the depths of our beings, shrinking back from the world. We point fingers at those involved in the problem and lay the blame of the outcome at all and sundry refusing to take responsibility for playing any part in the circumstance that led to the outcome. We deny our involvement and live in a state of fear which often includes hating and anger toward those involved. We play the avoidance game, pretending that if we ignore the problem it will simply go away. We sink into a deep and dark depression, unseeing of the footholds in the pit of our dark despair. We run like a bat out of hell, hoping with great hope that we can outrun the problem. All in all we believe that should we do all of this the problem does not exist. We look with sad dog eyes at the world in an attempt to get others to feel sorry for us, to be sympathetic toward us, and cry copious tears all in the hope that someone else will take on the problem for us.

In actuality to act as a victim is pathetic behaviour and should be avoided at all cost.

Now to be the victor on the other hand is to stand up straight and face the problem with courage and grace. As the victor we are able to take responsibility for the problem, claiming ownership to it. We resolve to fix the problem in a methodical, calm and peaceful manner and in so doing learn from the entire experience. We place no blame on others and do not finger point. We are able to calmly dissemble the problem and in a place of calm mind are able to reach a solution. From this standpoint we often find that many other opportunities present themselves to us and we are then able to reach out and grab them walking through new doors to a better life. As a victor we are able to deal with the issue or problem at hand in a state of love, compassion and peace.

The choice to be victim or victor is yours. Which one will you choose?

In love and light,

Amanda

Anger and Hate

Let not anger and hate fill your heart. Instead let go of the circumstance that so created it and release it into the Universe for there it will be dissipated. Fill instead your heart with compassion, kindness, caring, love and peace. ~ACN

Just today, I learned a very valuable lesson in my life. I learned that to hold anger and hate is not the way to live our lives. Not only did I hold on to anger and battle to let it go but a dear friend taught me that this is not something that we should do.

Anger and hate cause destruction of people and situations. It festers within our being becoming cancers to our souls. It destroys every semblance of good within our beings. It harms, more than anyone else involved in the situation, your own being. It causes us be what we are not born to be. We were created in love by our Divine. Our prime soul purpose is to live in a state of all consuming, unconditional, absolute Divine Love. When we lose sight of our purpose, we allow negative emotions to surface and once they are “let out of their box” they intensify, destroying all in their way. We destroy relationships, we impact dramatically on the lives of others and we often can destroy another person when we act in anger and hate.

Anger and hate make us say things that should be left unsaid, and are usually not meant. It is expressly sad that when this happens we are unable to retract our words but are left instead to face the consequence of their emergence from our beings. Yet in this we should stop and take note of what we are learning. Ask yourself, does the anger and hate serve you. Ask yourself if it has taught you anything. Ask yourself, if you are actually hurting yourself in the process of living in anger and hate.

On reflection of this negative behaviour you will find that it has served no one least of all yourself. It serves only to bring you into a state of regret, self-loathing and bitterness. It prevents you from living in the “now” especially when you hang on to it, stowing it instead in your rucksack to be carried around with you, burdening you and weighing you down until you let go of it and in so doing allowing it to be dissipated into the Universe.

Anger and hate are motivated by one thing only. Fear! When we consistently refuse to face fear, staring it down and dealing with the cause of it, we live in a state of self-destruction. No one wishes this intentionally for themselves, yet we so often find that we self-sabotage our lives by living in a state of fear.

There are many ways to let go of anger and hate. Breathe long gentle breaths until you calm your being. Write your anger out, venting until it is done and then burning what you have written and throwing the ashes onto the soil in your garden, hugging a tree, beating tyres, meditating to name but a few. The point is to immediately release it without causing destruction to another. Then forgive yourself for being in a state of anger and hate. Forgive the circumstance and all parties involved in the situation. Ask that all parties involved be blessed in love and light.

Do yourself a favour today; let go of all anger, hate, bitterness and fear. You will, within yourself, feel lighter and less burdened. You will be in a state of freedom and peace. Love not just yourself, but all within your surrounds and be what you were intended to be in this lifetime on Mother Earth. Be the amazing loving soul that you incarnated to be. Be kindness and caring. Be compassion, love and peace.

In love and light,

Amanda

You are Always Supported

In the darkest times of our lives we learn the most. God will never ever give you more than you can handle. Just look up and you will find His loving hand outstretched to you. Look to your footprint and you will find only one set, for it is during these times that He carries you. ~ACN

We all have dark times in our lives. Times when things are tough for us, when we lack financial support, or when we lose someone, lose our jobs or things are just not going right for us.

It is during these times that we feel we are always alone, that we are the only ones going through the experience that we are having. I recall the times during my divorce when I felt so alone and believed that I was the only one in the whole wide world going through this experience. One day I turned the television on and saw a programme on the breakdown of the marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Suddenly it struck me that I was not the only one in this position, that there were others in the world who would experience the same range of emotions that I was feeling at that time. I learned so much about myself, my children, my family and friends during this very dark time for me. I learned that I could be tough, that I could endure a vast amount of pain and that I was strong enough to stand on my own and be my own person. Yes, I learned so much.

There are also times in our lives when we feel that we just cannot take another moment of that which we are experiencing. We believe that we no longer have the strength or wisdom to face another day of our “suffering”. Our “suffering” lessens as we realise that we are sent only that with which we can cope and never a gram more. We need only to raise our eyes heavenward and know that our Divine is with us. All we need to do is ask for support from our Divine and it will be instantly granted. Reach up and take the hand that is offered you by Him. If you were to look at your footprints in an esoterically manner you would most certainly see one set of prints upon the sand. This is simply because you are carried in your dark times by your Divine and it is His footprints that you see upon the sand.

Some of us question why we have chosen such difficult lives, filled with many, many lessons. Yet others of us ask why we are facing the same lesson in yet another experience. It is only when we have “gotten” the lesson, learned from it, acknowledged what we have learned from it and then let that lesson go that we can move on to the next one. It sounds so easy and really it is. We have only to un-clutter our minds and come to a place of acceptance to see the vast array of opportunities that present themselves to us which will open doors to a positive outcome from the particular experience.

For those of us with extremely hard and tough life lessons which are not repetitive, I ask that you realise this; it is only an old soul that chooses to experience difficult lessons at a rapid rate, for it is when the soul is old that it starts to journey toward guiding others. If we were not of the experience, how would we be able to council those in future lives? Some of us also chose to experience rapid growth to experience what may well be two soul lives in one earth life experience. Be in gratitude for this as you are blessed to so experience such an earth life.

Each time we journey to Mother Earth, or any other plane for that matter, we are accompanied by many guides and Angels who are with us in a supportive role. We have only to ask and they will immediately jump into action guiding us, showing us doors of opportunity, introducing us to people who will be instrumental in supporting us in achieving the goal of learning and growth. Our guides lead us to where we must be in order to effectively learn and grow. Open your mind to access their wisdom and direction. All that they do for us is done in absolute Divine Love.

Graciously accept the lessons that you have come to learn. Be at one with them. Know that you will emerge stronger and wiser from the experience. Be in gratitude for that which you have learned and never forget that you are held in absolute love by your Divine.

In love and light,

Amanda
